11th NRA World Action Pistol Championships – Missouri, USA

The 11th NRA World Action Pistol Championship was conducted at the Green Valley Rifle & Pistol Club at Hallsville, Missouri, USA on 19-20 May 2018.

The world cup attracted individual and team competitors from USA, Australia, NZ, Japan, Germany, Barbados and Switzerland.

The ATS Team performed exceptionally well:

Cherie – Female Champion and First Female Open Team
Mark -Third Place Open Team
Jackson – Third Place Junior

The team now has two days of final preparation before the Bianchi Cup starting on 23 May 2018.

ATS Gains Opportunities at the DSA & NATSEC ASIA 2018

ATS recently had the opportunity to exhibit at the Defence Services Asia (DSA) & National Security Asia (NATSEC), as part of Team Australia, held in Malaysia over the period 16 – 20 April. ATS was the only live fire subject matter expert at the exhibition and were honoured to met with the Malaysian Chief of Army to discuss opportunities for ATS to contribute to enhancing the Malaysian Army’s live fire training capability under the auspices of the Malaysian Australian Joint Defence Program. Throughout the week ATS took every opportunity to promote Australian live fire training innovation and highlighted the capabilities of proven suppliers who are leading the world in range technology.

ATS Shooters win NSW State Action Pistol Championships

Congratulations to our ATS shooters Cherie Blake, Mark Blake and Jackson Burns who all won their categories during the NSW State Action Pistol Championships in Blacktown over the period 21-22 April 2018.

Action Pistol competitions comprises four courses of fire — Falling Plates, Mover, Practical and Barricade events.  Action tests a shooter’s speed and accuracy at various distances with each course of fire comprising 48 rounds each worth 10 points, totalling a match score of 480 points. The maximum total score achievable across the four matches is 1920.

The next competition for the ATS trio is the Flagler Cup, Kansas City, Missouri, USA.
