Albury ATS employees Tracey & Yashi and Tracey’s children, participated in the Border Relay for Life 2018 on Saturday & Sunday 27 – 28 October. An amazing 197km was walked by the small team ‘Wacky Walkers’ with Tracey walking 76km, Yashi 34km, Gabi (13yrs) 50km and Carla (11yrs) 37km. Family, friends and colleagues joined the team during the day and night to support and encourage our efforts and generously assisted the team to fundraise approx. $600.00 towards this incredible cause.
Overall the Border event was participated by 130 community teams, made up of 2600 dedicated individuals, together raising a massive $360,000 to fund Cancer Council research, prevention, information and support services.
