RANGE OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE
Modern ranges involve complex hardware controlled by very sophisticated software and substandard maintenance protocols employed by non-OEM certified tradespersons and poorly trained equipment operators will significantly reduce the serviceable life of a range facility.
ATS has conducted considerable research into enhanced operation and management methodologies with a view to improving both the efficiency and effectiveness of targetry maintenance operations as a component of core business. ATS is able to provide technical training to range staff in the following areas:
Advanced instruction on how to operate and maximise the operational capabilities of installed range control software.
Level two instruction on hardware servicing, maintenance and fault finding.
Safety procedures and facility management requirements as a complete live fire range system.
ATS employs Australian Defence Force (ADF) doctrine and safety standards for the conduct of live fire training as it exceeds civil requirements and enables the conduct of a wider array of live fire training.
